2D radar sensor for reliable object detection in especially harsh weather conditions
The RMS2000 radar sensor detects objects very reliably, even under especially harsh ambient and weather conditions, e.g., in strong rain or snowfall, thick fog, or high dust loads. Detection fields can be flexibly configured in the working range of the sensor. This enables the RMS2000 to simultaneously and very accurately detect distances, angles and speeds of objects. Depending on the parameterization of the device, detections classified as relevant can be signaled via the digital outputs, or measurement data transmitted via the Ethernet interface for further use.

For reliable distance measurement, both indoors and outdoors: The Dx1000 long range distance sensor with infrared laser is ideal for use on cranes, for detecting vehicles in traffic applications, and for measuring hot steel slabs in a steel mill. The Dx1000 features exceptional versatility in any application – HDDM+ (High Definition Distance Measurement with multi-echo technology) enables distance measurements with high measurement accuracy, even in the presence of ambient light, rain, snow, and fog. It excels at axial object tracking and quickly detecting the edges of objects moved in from the side. The device does all this at measurement cycle times of down to one millisecond, making it ideal for use in control loops.

The Dx35 family of distance sensors, based on HDDM™ technology, combine maximum reliability, measuring capabilities, flexibility and the perfect price-performance ratio in a very compact housing.Depending on the application, sub-product families are available for distance measurement on natural objects (DT35 and DS35) or on reflective tape (DL35 and DR35).The sub-product families also come with different interfaces. In addition to the IO-Link function, which all the devices have, the product family also offers sensors with analog and switching output (DT and DL) or the option of two switching outputs (DS and DR). Its final distinguishing feature when selecting the right sensor for the application is the light sender: infrared or red light in laser class 1 or 2.

The compact OD2000 displacement measurement sensor is a very economical stand-alone solution for accurate distance measurement. The universally applicable sensor is suitable for a wide variety of applications with distances of up to 1,200 mm. Using high-precision triangulation, it detects even the smallest differences in height in the micrometer range. Due to top values in terms of linearity and repeatability as well as a measuring frequency of up to 7.5 kHz, the OD2000 delivers reliable distance data on virtually any surface. Thanks to the plug and play concept, the sensor can be integrated very quickly.
